Sookie #2 - Still Going Strong

LIVING dead IN DALLAS is the second payment in the wildly popular series of the southern vampire mysteries. In this Edition, meet us new characters, travel to new locations, discover other creatures and learn a significant threat to the vampire community. And, of course, author Charlaine Harris continues to Captivate his audience with his special brand of humor with a bite!

Sookie is on its way to Dallas. The Sookie special talents have been loaned out for the vampire nest Dallas to help solve the mystery of a missing 'brother.'As Sookie carries out its tasks, it has knowledge of a threat to the entire Dallas nest and everywhere in the world of the vampires.Sookie may stop in time?

Character, which keeps the drive continues to be a delicious, eccentric, Sookie return for more charming. I need to know. I have read all Sookie Stackhouse 10 pounds for a stay of two weeks, and I want even more. Sookie is a strong heroine; it is even stronger it considers. When things get difficult and frankly dirty Sookie is capable to remain at the top and to what to do. I always like that in my heroines.I like also no nonsense style Charlaine Harris of the rédaction.VIVRE the dead IN DALLAS begins with an exclamation point, and keeps turning you the pages deep in the night. It is soft and easy to read, but at the same time retains the pumping heart.

Sookie is one of those rare characters that begins to feel like a friend after a certain time. You want to keep learning more about it, and miss you it when it is not provided to temps.Au less, I know that faire.VIVRE DALLAS IN dead is strongly RECOMMENED. fun with Sookie, and I will soon be at the CLUB dead real.

Note: This review is for the KINDLE Edition.

Why is the second book always lacking?

I love this series (books and entertainment) and I like the differences between the two. That said, the second half of this book was terrible. Apart from inconsistencies in the plot (first Bill, Bill age when he turned, vampires "of the coffin" for 4 years on the first page of the first book and only out for 2 years in this book and other small things, repetitive of certain things-like tell me twice in the same paragraph that Sookie had received the car, when I personally feel like it is not necessary say to all the), the first half of the book was enjoyable. It flows well and is very entertaining.

The second half... no conclusion to speak of, and not only that, Harris was vague on this that I do not know yet what has happened or what happened to the people, and why Sam seemed even care and was very y dog on the situation as a whole. The tv show has done much better record and resolve this plot line. I was left very dissatisfied by the conclusion of this book.It was not nearly as fully and polished as the last livre.Je only give it 3 stars because the first half was good and that the portion of the path has been resolved well, but a bit long this approach.

The people had no grounds for the death of the guy in the opening chapter, Harris even never explained what happened to him. This book is shorter than the first of many chapters.Harris really should have written additional chapters and resolved the story line in this livre.Elle really felt like a cop out to me.I was really disappointed after having assessed the first book so much.

But all that said, typically books and entertainment maintain their propre.Il are a sufficient similarities you can guess the result a little, but not enough that you know exactly what will happen.
