Third recipe we tried, has a major mistake
"Apple to Grandma pie in a jar" jam recipe that cannot be correct.
We interviewed if 9 cups of sugar was fair to only 6 cups of chopped apples - but since it is a source of good reputation, we have done.
Our finished product is super-thick goo established clear (such as honey super-thick) with pieces of Apple floating on top.
It is not worth eating, because it is too sweet, too thick, and spices were absolutely overpowered.
We have lost some ingredients, time, and have now ignore the ten pints of goo.
