good, but flawed
Standing asparagus in a narrow pot, height of cooking is the ideal solution. It allows the bottom most severe of the asparagus to boil in the water, while the rest steams. (my mother used to use an old Tin small coffee with the bottom cut to that effect). as with other pots all dressed I have, it seems very well made, even if it has a bottom aluminum disc and is not made from their three-ply with aluminium sandwich construction runs to the sides. It is probably unnecessary and helps keep the price down.
However, I have a big problem with this steam boat: the shopping cart.steel rings enserrent basket are placed too far away, which is especially a problem down because asparagus stems tend to escape slide between the anneaux.Cela makes the difficult enough steam to "support." sounds more, more close would greatly help - or, better yet, a basket of solid mesh (such as found in their 12-quarter multipot) would be much better for this useful article.
These days, my steamer asparagus is mainly used as a counter to my kitchen long-managed repository implements, a task which he excelle.nous eat lots of asparagus, but we prefer it roasted in a saucepan (10 minutes at the 350º an olive oil, pepper and parmesan sprinkle with grated) or it griller.mais, when we need asparagus steam, vapour dressed all comes handy.
